Blood-pla
reminiscent of the old aqua song: barbie girl… ”life in plastic its fantastic”. These days just about anything can be made out of plastic. There’s plastic utensils, plastic furniture, plastic flora and fauna, plastic cars (body), plastic gundams. ^^ but never in my wildest imagination would I ever think that they can make plastic blood. however don’t start melting those gunpla’s and jabbing them into your grandpa’s blood pipes just yet. Plastic blood is quite differnet from your run of the mill plastic. it was developed at Sheffield University and has an iron atom core to carry oxygen through the body. and although it isn’t clear whether or not it can provide for the other functions the blood performs, it’s safe to assume that it is still far from being a perfect working product, however one should consider that it is the first step to a new frontier in medical technology.
