It seems like it’s been raining almost everyday lately. and because of that, all sorts of Amphibious wildlife would naturally start to spawn all around the place, today it seems a great big frog/toad decided to set camp on our front door. we tried shooing her away but she seems adamant in staying there so we decided to leave her be.

Watched the much awaited live action transformers movie last week. I’ve been a fan of the animated series back when I was a kid. and I’d have to say. director Michael Bay did a great job, the movie not only updated the two decade old animated series, but produced a storyline that would entertain followers of the old ”generation one” series, the newer Armada series fans, as well as those who has never heard of the transformers.

I would rate the movie with two thumbs up! d(^-^)b I’d probably rate it a bit higher, if only I had more thumbs to spare. ^^; however if there is one thing I didn’t like about the movie was that its deliberate use of an all American vehicle lineup. Even Bumblebee’s automobile form was changed from a Volkswagen Beetle to a Chevrolet Camaro. however I guess product placement is a necessary evil in making a big budget Hollywood movie.  But still, the movie is a definite must-watch, especially for kids aged 5 to 65. ^^

a little trivia for people who didn’t know about this: the voice actor who played Optimus Prime in the movie is Peter Cullen, the same voice actor for Optimus Prime on the original tv series, who also did the voice of Eeyore: the depressed donkey in Walt Disney’s Winnie the Pooh. ^^
