Strike Freedom Zaft White - Kira Yamato Customize
I was thinking of calling this Gundam the Absolute Freedom, however since I did just base the color scheme from Keita’s work, it just doesn’t seem right to personally rename the Gundam. so as homage to his artistic work, I’m keeping the name as it is. the “Strike Freedom Zaft White - Kira Yamato Customize”.
I’m not exactly Finished with the kit yet, there are some unpainted sprue marks I have to clean out. which is one of the problems faced when painting the parts on the runners. ^^; I also haven’t started on the rifles, since I was too lazy to start work with masking tape.
Needless to say, Keita’s White Stirke Freedom kicks seven billion shades of crap off my inept excuse of a copy. however I’m still happy how the kit turned out. I personally prefer this color scheme on the Strike Freedom as compared to the original white and blue. As most kids would probably think, good guys should always wear white. Unless of course you’re one of Darth Vaders Stormtroopers. ^^ no offence meant to Danny of course. ^^;
Though the truth is I thought that the 1/100 scale Strike Freedom would be a bit bigger. However regardless of my preconceptual notions on the Strike Freedom’s size. the great thing about the it is that the mobile suit design leaves little room for improvements. although this would probably be a counter advantage for people itching to use their scratch building skills. but for people like me whose scratch building skill are limited to paper boats and airplanes, all I can say is that the Strike Freedom would still look cool enough even without any form of customization, plus it was actually a fun kit to build. A MG kit worth buying for any Seed or non-Seed Gundam fans.

nice color scheme for this Freedom. shucks, if only I’ve time and sunny weather to work on my plamo kits too. When I wanna do paint job, the weather is cloudy or rainy. When it’s sunny, I’m off for outdoor activities. :s

thank you all for those kind words
Hobby Point, just a little fyi, some of the more experienced gunpla builders would sometimes tell me never paint when its rainy, the paint wouldn’t dry right. then again its probably just because our weather here is a lot more humid than most places.
Ngee Khiong, thanks Dude, that a really nice praise.
Samejima, looks cute. I like what you did with the saber and the beam shields.
Otaku Surf, thanks although the pictures you took of your Strike Freedom make mine look like pictures of bird poo. ^^;

Just started building my MG Strike Freedom today. The wings are a BxTCH to assemble, couldn’t finish one before dinner. I breezed through the body construction in 2 hours, and got stuck on the wings and stopped.

July 23rd, 2008 at 2:40 pm
This strike freedom is the full burst mode version. that’s the default color of the gold parts. ^^
