Japan Day 2: Akihabara
An Otaku’s Pilgrimage can never be complete without a visit to Akihabara. ^^ unfortunately it seems that I didn’t have enough time to go around a bit more since I went there a little bit late. I only got to go around a single building, (T-T) so I guess I’d have to make another stop there before I return home.
the first buiding that caught my eye was this one. I went straight into it without a second thought. I wanted to take some pictures of the maids giving out packs of pocket tissue outside the Akihabara station, but figured I’d do that later, unfortuately they weren’t there anymore when I got back.
Gundamaniac’s Paradise! ^^ I would have pitched a tent and slept here if only they were open 24 hours. ^^ on a side note gunpla here a lot cheaper, about half the price. makes me want to change my place of residence.
one of the more stranger stuff I found in the shop, rolls of hentai manga tissue paper. It would probably feel strange wiping your bottom with manga. but at least an otaku would have something to read while in the john. ^^

Uh…half price as in how much? Give me an example. Heck, if I found cheap kits, I would ditch the boxes and load my suitcase with runners.

Baka, lol I was tempted to leave all my clothes in the bin and load my luggage with gunpla, however I did got to take home a HG Dendrobium for about 20,000 yen. will probably do a post on that later on. regarding the price of the kits, the only one I remember is the MG Destiny Gundam it goes for a little bit around 3,000yen also from where I’m at gunpla don’t usually go on sale but apparently on Japan they do. ^^
Ngee Khiong, there was another store with more gundams than the one I took a picture of, unforunately my camera ran out of batteries after I got a shot of their HY2Ms.
