What have I got done so far? not much, just the other wing and the Destiny’s A.S.S. (anti ship sword) Arondight. ^^ a shame I wasn’t able to finish the long range beam rifle. but hopefully it’ll be all done soon. ^^
i have a question, how do u pain those gundams?
do you pain after you assemble it or before?
and what kind of spray paint do you use and where can i get it?
thank you.
hi Chris, I’m a lazy bugger so I paint the parts while they are on their sprues, some might tell you its the wrong way to do it, but it does save a lot of time. ^^ you can either use a can of tamiya hobby spray paint or use an airbrush, both of which you would probably find at your local hobby store.

hi nice 2 meet u i have been working strike freedom gundam i find painting the gundam quite diff cause the paint keeps getting onto the wrong parts and nice paint skills u got there!
Hey again, I’m gonna go out tmr to pick up some supplies but wanna make sure I get the right ones. Just to clarify, you said used gun metal for the skeleton, right? Is this a metallic paint b/c I thought it was just a really dark grey but from your model, the frame (the hand, etc) look really shiny which I like. It’s not from the lighting (or flash maybe of your camera?) is it?

hey, cool model; what’s the tamiya color code (TS-?) that you used for the skeleton? Did you have to prime first or did the paint stick well?
November 11th, 2008 at 10:00 am
forgot the ts number but it’s called gunmetal. didn’t prime it, spray painted it directly
November 11th, 2008 at 10:11 am
so the paint doesn’t rub off? even at the joints? congrats with all your cool looking models by the way
November 11th, 2008 at 10:15 am
thank you Al, so far none of my kits have that problem, although it might be because I don’t play with my painted kits all that much. ^^;
