Jumbo Grade Zeta Gundam
How dare I call myself a gundamaniac and not get a Jumbo Grade Zeta. ^^ I guess it’s time to break me piggybank and get me-self a bigger gundam, but since there wasn’t enough money for an HY2M I’d have to settle for a Jumbo Grade Zeta. ^^
the Jumbo Zeta came with parts to change it into the waverider mode, however I don’t see the point of buying an expensive gundam and not display it as a gundam. ^^; by the way, if someone out there was wondering, nope it’s not a transformer, to transform the zeta to the waverider, one would have to take the thing apart and reassemble it as the waverider.
the rifle also needed to be assembled, and if my gunpla cutter could talk, it would probably have cursed me for making him cut thru those giant runners. ^^
now I have a Jumbo Zeta standing around in the living room. ^^ btw forgot to rotate this particular image while batch editing it. orz
Petite Nendroid Haruhi Zeta Go! ^^;

Lsio & Homemade Otaku, there are two other Jumbo Grade Gundams the RX-78 and Char Zaku. ^^
Ngee Khiong, Thank you. ^^
Samejima, some stores were selling them for 16k php ($400usd), but the cheapest I found was 14k ($350usd). ^^
Home made Otaku, I’m currently residing in the Philippines, but if you’re wondering about nationality or ethnicity its Canadian and Chinese respectively. ^^

Now you really done it this time Marvin, and have truly lived up to your name as a ‘Gundamaniac’.
Dun think I’ll ever spend so much on a single kit, at least not with my current earnings.
Btw Marvin, ever consider looking for a clear display case(if there’s one that fits the Jumbo Grade) or glass cabinet to put it in? It’ll be a pain if dust begins to settle on it.

hey Jacques, Thank you, I’m really sorry about your comment. it seems that my spam filter keeps on regarding your messages as spam, and I’m not yet sure on how to fix that.
about the jumbo grade, I guess I’ll have to start looking for a cabinet for that soon. but until then he’ll just be in the living room keeping guard. ^^;

I got one of those too at San Diego Comicon. It´s big, at almost 60cm of height. IIRC the scale is 1/32 or 1/35. It´s a very impressive piece, even if a couple of things could have been better… i.e. the shield connector to the arm is too long IMO, at least compared to my only other Z( GFF Zeta)
Also the legs come off very easily since they are very heavy. They are “attached” vertically with a peg, meaning that if you lift the bad boy you should always hold the legs or they will fall.
Also some parts have a couple of molding imperfections but nothing extreme. I´d like the Cockpit hatch on mine (the red one) to align better, but it´s probably my item.
It´s pretty amazing anyway, and the arms and legs have some articulation (more than I expected) although not exaclty high in terms of play value
