Bandai Chogokin Macross Frontier VF-25
News found via Danny Choo’s member news posted by Venth. Looks like Bandai has decided to make a 1/60 Chogokin of the Macross Frontier VF-25. People who are familiar with the Bandai Chogokin line would tell you that mechas from this line are sturdily built with metal parts. Probably much more sturdier than the original Macross Yamato versions since the Yamato ones are built using plastic parts. Â
However an ironic (pun not intended) fact is that Bandai’s Chogokin are relatively cheaper than the Yamato ones, in which case the metal Chogokin Macross F VF-25 might end up cheaper than the plastic Yamato versions. ^^; I guess we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed then wait and see. ^^
