Folks who own the original Revoltech Fraulein Ayanami Rei, would you buy this new version in August for a meazly 2200 Yen? Do I hear a sure! why not? ^^ Guess Revoltech’s learning to milk the customers. this version of Ayanami Rei is perfect for those who have a moe bandage fetish. ^^; wonder why the Lance of Longinus is purple though. ^^ another question for EVA fans out there, watched the episode where this weapon was actually used, I have to say it’s actually more of a spear than a lance. but why is it called the Lance of Longinus? ^^

What happens when you leave your site on a little downtime? stats will drop of course. transfered marvinryan.com to a new server lastweek, unfortunately wasn’t able to fix the SQL database until three days later. and as it seem the downtime had devastating effects on readership. >.< although hopefully it’ll pick up again soon. ^^

the MG Destiny Impulse. was thinking of doing this when I get an impulse kit. but since it has been done. will probably scratch the idea and build something else. ^^; although if I remember correctly the original Destiny Gundam was a bit more purple.

I heard some folks consider the first seed series to be a remake of the original gundam series. If so then this Strike and Strike Noir mod is how they’re suppose to look like. ^^ notice that the Strike Noir is colored similar to the real type RX-78-2

Time to rejoice Dood. It’s a HG Throne Varanus, albeit a mod from an existing throne kit, however it means Bandai doesn’t have to work much to produce the kit. ^^

got 14,800 Yen or its equivalent you’ve been kicking underfoot? well you can get yourself this resn Gundam Sadalsuud featured during the Shizouka hobby show. although I’ve got a feeling this Dynames mod will be a 1/100 HG kit soon enough.

Danny Choo has been encouraging folks to post an image of their Otaku room. So I decided to join the bandwagon and start taking photos of my Otaku sanctuary. ^^
When you enter married life, figures, gundams, and other toys will not be welcomed in the bedroom. ^^ Trust me, even if your wife is an otaku, it’s very unlikely she would want your anime posters hanging in the bedroom wall. Besides you wouldn’t want any other distraction there other than your wife. ^^ So naturally you’d have to keep all of those anime goodies and merchandise in another room.

Originally this room was supposed to be an office/den or library, however it has long been overrun by gundams and figures. ^^

The top shelves are where I keep recently built Gundams. A tip: keep them high up to make sure children visitors can’t reach them. ^^

Stuff beside my computer are recently opened figures or built gundams that I play work with while on my desk. ^^;

Win Chan, first saw her on Danny San’s site, wanted her but couldn’t find her, until recently when my wife got her for me via Amazon. ^^ Yatta!!! Btw another figure she got me way back was Aya Natsume.

Halogen lights on display shelves may have seem like a good idea at the time, but I soon realized tis not so good for PVC Figures. ^^; so I keep them off unless there’s a visitor or if I wanted to take a picture of the room. ^^

And yes that’s a My Melody at the bottom of the picture. My wfe has her running around the house like a rabbit. Much to my dis…*ouch* (>.<*)

Top cabinets still full of unopened GFFs and kits. Gotta find time to build them these days. ^^; Underneath is a foldable sofa bed, just in case the misus throws me out and I have to find company with my gundam…just kidding. In case we have guests who like to be surrounded with gunpla and figures. ^^

Not all me gunpla and figures are here in this room though, left a few up in the attic. Was supposed to convert the area to a living room, unfortunately it too has been overrun, but this time by wedding gifts. hHaven’t disposed of them all yet. Btw if anyone reading this gave us a wedding present… not to worry, your stuff isn’t up here in the attic. ^^; orz
