Revoltech Fraulein Ayanami Rei Bandaged version
Folks who own the original Revoltech Fraulein Ayanami Rei, would you buy this new version in August for a meazly 2200 Yen? Do I hear a sure! why not? ^^ Guess Revoltech’s learning to milk the customers. this version of Ayanami Rei is perfect for those who have a moe bandage fetish. ^^; wonder why the Lance of Longinus is purple though. ^^ another question for EVA fans out there, watched the episode where this weapon was actually used, I have to say it’s actually more of a spear than a lance. but why is it called the Lance of Longinus? ^^

Why lance of Longinus?
Lance of Longinus is the name of the spear/lance (which has various names) used to impale Lord Jesus Christ when he was crucified.
I bet you’ve seen a crucified puppet-like white giant (that’s Lilith) and impaled with the lance.
Evangelion has lots of biblical references and it’s really an interesting/favorited show… have first seen it at ABS-CBN as a tagalog-dubbed (sounds crap) then a Chinese-dubbed VCD (also crap)…

I’m not sure about this one… a school uniform version would be better.
Lance and spear are not the same lol? and it is more like a big fork to me ^^;

It’s called a javelin in Track and Field. But you’re right, it’s always thrown. They probably used Lance to match the “L.”
I never liked the bandages. I mean, heck, I’ve never even used bandages before.

Samejima, lol I always hated the fact that every anime here is dubbed in Filipino, always thought anime and cartoons should be in dubbed in english, especially for a nation whose largest commodity are call center agents and overseas workers. this is why older folks seem to be better in english than younger folks these days.
