some more info on season 2 from the undisputed gundam king Gunota.
Official info for season 2 of Gundam 00 just started to leak out. Note: Source pics weren’t the most legible so these are subject to correction. Thanks to 2ch posters, who also puzzled out what they could.
Characters:
Setsuna F. Seiei - 21-years-old. Lived as a boy soldier in his native Kurdish and became a Gundam Meister with Celestial Being. Engaged in one-on-one combat with Graham in a final battle. Went missing. 4 years after, what does he think of as he looks at the world without conflict the Earth Sphere Federation ushered in?
Lockon Stratos - 29-years-old. Expert marksman and Gundam Meister affiliated with Celestial Being. 4 years ago, he and his bitter enemy Saachez shot each other simultaneously and (*unreadable portion*) This Lockon (*unreadable*) heads to the battlefield together with his partner Haro and, as a Gundam Meister, pilots the Keldim Gundam.
Allelujah Haptism - 24-years-old.
Tieria Erde - Age unknown. Seriously injured in the decisive final battle in which he flew the Gundam Nadleeh but he was rescued by an organization and his life saved. Afterwards, he did his best to rebuild Celestial Being. Previously, he had thought of Veda as an absolute being but now he looks for the meaning of his personal struggle.Mecha (definitely iffy on the names here):
GN-0000 00 Gundam - New generation Gundam developed as a successor unit to the Gundam Exia. A formidable mecha equipped with 2 GN Drives on its shoulders, it boasts astounding GN particle emission and its performance overwhelms that of all other mobile suits. Pilot: Setsuna F. Seiei

Arios Gundam
Selavii Gundam - A heavy armament model piloted by Tieria Erde that largely carries over features of the Gundam Virtue. Furthermore, it was developed with the intent of strengthening offense and while the 2 shoulder-equipped GN cannons are simple in form, their firepower far exceeds the Virtue’s.Info from Kouryaku No Yakata’s Newtype summaries:
- The second season will revolve around an independent security enforcement organization within the Federation called “Arrows” that suppresses anti-Federation elements.
- Setsuna will take on a leadership role.
- Most people aren’t aware of the severe oppression of Arrows due to the Federation’s complete control of information.
- Lockon died and isn’t coming back.
- The show will air in MBS’ Sunday 5 pm timeslot starting in October.
btw folks using rss readers might be having problems with the images. I do apologize about that. I have been trying to find a way to allow images to get through the rss feed while having images protected from hotlinking, but to no avail. unfortunately hotlinkers have been eating up a lot of bandwidth lately so I’ve been trying to clean that up. hopefully I’ll be able to find a better solution soon, until then I do apologize about it and hope that everyone would bear with me on the hotlink protection.

Fabienne, seems everyone except lockon has been confirmed alive. lockon is the only one confirmed dead.
Gordon, but we did see him walking with a mask on the end of the first season… reports of his death must be some gossip news they are trying to leak out in attempt of making us think the guy is someone else. ^^;

marvin, there also raul klueze, miliardo peacecraft, and ulube to join blond mask club. except ulube is not blond, but he should join too cos he’s the ultimate villain in G series

Frito, Santi92. the director for Gundam 00 confirms that lockon is indeed dead. the guy there might be his twin brother who is just using his old codename.
Piorot, lol there’s another guy from F91: Carozzo Rona, although with his full mask, we wouldn’t know if he had blond hair.

I know Gundam 00 season 2 is gonnah be amazing and even though gundam 00 season 1 epiosde were kinda late but the episode were amazing and awesome.
all the character are awesome in every way..=)

I did some research into the new designs of gundams.
Aside from Gundam 00 with the 2 GN drives on its shoulders, the 3 other new gundams have no visible GN drive eqipped it seems like.
I looked at ARROWS’ mobile suits and it looks like they’re all equipped with a GN drive.
I’m quite interested to see how CB is going to combat ARROWS when it doesn’t seem like the 3 new gundams have GN engine. (Remember how hard it was for CB to fight off couple MS with GN engine in Season 1? Yea…wonder how that’ll play out now)
My assumption is that CB has discovered a new method to utilize the GN particles that the gundam itself doesn’t need an GN engine or some sort.
