MG MSN-06S Sinanju Ver Ka
the MG Sinanju, image from SRW hotnews.

yup it looks like one would have to paint the emblem on the chest. oh well.

also reported on SRW hotnews is that this particular sinanju has its rear side up front. ^^

LOL, I think the people at bandai are working too hard if they end up putting the name tag at the back… Get some rest and make us better quality models…

It could either be the camera, the pose, the angle or the model itself but that is… SERIOUSLY UNDERWHELMING! especially for something that’s going to eat 7000 yen out of me! It also doesn’t seem to have much of that “katoki” feel on its proportions either. Lastly… the model needs some serious dose of yellow plastic o_0
Someone need to go over there and spray a healthy dose of flat top coat on it at the very least…
Sorry for the rant, Marvin but my heart just sank a little ^^;

2 Z, i feel the same
its 7000 yen but looks like only worth 3500

THAT IS ONE DISAPPOINT VER KA. It doesn’t even appear to have yellow parts. The Sazabi had more detail than this for f*ck’s sake! That’s one rushed, half-@$$ed lame model kit. I’m down to 30% on the possibility of buying this cheap-excuse-for-a-Katoki-model-kit.

mark, i’m not gonna buy this kit
October 6th, 2008 at 6:37 pm
フェイダムさん, “make better quality models” would be the right reaction for this. ^^
Z, lol no worries,
poirot, Mark, I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed that they make improvements on this kit.

I’ll definitely get this, for the love of Zeon MSs, red one especially.
But the disappointment addressed by many are true as well. The ornaments on the body is one problem, the backpack being a little too heavy for the waist to handle is another.
Still plenty of time for Bandai to refine this MG, let’s hope a better Sinanju will be out instead ^^

that’s true, still have my fingers crossed. ^^;

There is still the possibility that they’ll turn this around. Ver Ka’s are known to have near-PG quality when it comes to colored plastic distribution. I don’t think Hajime Katoki would let a half-*ssed kit come out of his personal line. I just wish they didn’t display that abomination because it disheartened a lot of fans.
If you look at the rear boosters, one white part is missing. So this could be just a mockup of sorts.

I guess you are right, Katoki has a reputation to keep. btw mark, I hope you don’t mind that I edited your comments a bit.

No worries. ^_^ I just feel strongly about this what with such a wonderful release with the Unicorn MG and then they come out with that silly excuse for a prototype?

[…] coverage. Of course despite all the link pimpage, I’m still currently disappointed with that prototype Sinanju. To the point where Marvin had to edit out my profanities (can’t remember what exactly I […]

guess need some paint job to make Sinaju to stand up
October 13th, 2008 at 5:35 pm
definately a redesign of Sazabi, but very pricy for a piece of model
October 13th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
does Sinaju transformable like Unicorn?
October 13th, 2008 at 6:36 pm
that image would be the resin conversion and not the actual MG.

icic thanks for the input marvin
October 13th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
no problem, I think bandai would still be revising this anyway. ^^

Ngee Khiong made a post on how the gold trims would be gold bling and transparent stickers
