Mcall.com reports that Megan Fox has come and gone from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania before most residents even knew she was there. The Transformers 2 star has already checked out of the Hotel Bethlehem, said Dennis Costello, the hotel’s general manager. Fox presumably was in town to film a scene at Bethlehem Steel. It’s not clear when Fox was on the set, but filming for the scene began Monday night and ended this morning.

Although it’s really meant to be an alien head, it does look like the punisher logo right above the Katakana. ^^

Indiana Jones 4: the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull review

Indiana Jones 4 the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Went to see the new Indiana Jones movie: the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull at the Shangri-la Premiere Theater yesterday. Surprisingly I had to fork over more than 500 Pesos (11USD) for two tickets, then again it’s still less than half the price for a pair of movie tickets back in Vancouver. ^^; anyway back to the movie. Doff your fedora to Spielberg and Ford, Indy is back! although a lot older. Still age doesn’t slow down the whip cracking, wise-cracking adventurer/professor we all have known to love from the previous movies. This movie was certainly a joy to watch and the effects was simply stunning. Admittedly the movie did have its moments of unbelievable feats, however the fast-paced adventure and comedic scenes will certainly keep viewers positively entertained and would probably keep them from visiting the washroom even with the impending water burst from the human fountain. Suffice to say, Indy in his old age would put Rick O’Connell (the Mummy) and Benjamin Gates (National Treasure) to shame.
Indiana Jones the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Some take away thoughts from the movie - note spoilers may be afoot:

  •
    • America is a nation that cannot be defeated, because they have the Ark of the Covenant stored in a top secret warehouse.
    • Aliens are magnetic and post mortem telepathic.
    • An alien Corpse will not stink up a warehouse and will automatically keep itself frozen when wrapped in foiled duct tape.
    • The whip is mightier than the machine gun.
    • Female Russian spies would sometimes blurt words in British accent.
    • Hiding in a lead-lined refrigerator will save you during a nuclear holocaust.
    • Drinking from the Holy Grail will not give you eternal life.
    • Commies like the Nazis can never shoot straight.
    • Bigger scorpions sting less poison (this one might actually be true), so much for the Mummy’s Scorpion King then. ^^
    • Ants in the Amazon would eat humans for lunch.
    • Swinging up in the trees with monkeys automatically makes you their friend.
    • A person swinging in the trees can outrun a automobile.
    • Falling down three waterfalls will NOT kill you. (nor will you loose a fedora hat)
    • There is no gold in El Dorado. (only Alien corpses)
    • Indiana Jones is actually Superman. (faster than a speeding bullet)
    • Clubs, arrows, swords, bullets, missiles or the atomic bomb cannot kill Indiana Jones. (move over Chuck Norris)

All that said, I’ll leave you with the trailer from the movie. Or you can also catch it on youtube

Star Wars The Clone Wars

May 14, 2008 By: marvin Category: news, Movies 2 Comments →

star wars the clone wars
After Revenge of the Sith George Lucas decided to do an animation movie The Clone Wars. not to be confused with the animation series featured on cartoon network with the same name. check out the trailer below. or see the high res video on the official site

Events of this movie take place somewhere between Episode II and III and it seems that Anakin Skywalker is going to get a female Padawan. One thing fans might notice is that the character animation art on this movie seems to be stylized to look like thunderbird marionettes. Nevertheless, Star Wars fans old and new will surely welcome this new movie when it finally opens in August. ^^
