As the 300 Spartans battle the Persians along the coast of Thermopylae, they find themselves weary and burdened by fatigue. the King thought to himself, Persian foes must not win this battle in account of our own exhausted bodies. we must win! we are Spartans! thus with his voice thundering throughout the battlefield the mighty king call out, “Spartans take your rations, the Elixir of strength worthy to be called in the king’s name! and let our enemies know the vigor that is of Sparta”!

wondering how to get hold of Veda? by using a Celestial Being phone of course. ^^

the misus got me this cool Celestial Being gold lacquer sticker to stick on my phone. quite similar to the dragon ones I put on the MG Shin Musha.

Was at a local starbucks again today for some Chai tea. when I heard a funny conversation. funnier than the old Quantum Singularity Mug fiasco I experienced a while back.
after paying for my drink and sandwich, I was waiting just at the corner of the counter for the rest of my order. the woman next to me started with her order, “miss, isa pong ‘bir’” (one ‘bir’ please). the attendant trying to keep her composure when to the back and emerged with a starbuck’s teddy bear. the woman looking miffed and said “yung iniinom” (they type you drink). at that point I was taking a sip off my cup only to have my drink go up my nose trying to keep from laughing. however noticed that woman looked at me in disdain, I said, “gosh this drink is hot” (although it looks as though she didn’t buy my excuse). ^^; The starbucks attendant on the other hand had better luck in containing her emotions and said in tagalog, “I’m sorry ma’m we don’t serve that here. we only serve coffee. but you can find beer at the grocery below”.

uhoh, looks like this site might go down for a few days again. strange thing is I just upgraded to double my previous bandwidth limit. lol.

was thinking whether to get a Imageshack, photobucket or flickr account for the images since images do eat up most of the bandwidth. however I’m not so sure it would be a violation of the terms of service. suggestions would be welcomed. ^^

Stats for July. didn’t realize that I was having almost a 100,000 hits a day. woohoo! too bad my bandwidth is taking all the punishment. ^^ also I noticed that my google rank went down two notches lately. wonder if it has anything to do with the hotlink protection. :( 

anyway if site dies on me in the next few days, I’d like to apologize to folks in advance. I’ll try my best to get it back up as soon as I can. I also would like to apologize for the lack of posts recently. been trying to find time to blog these past few days unfortunately between work, tending to my recovering wife and the new baby, a little alone time for blogging seem to be scarce or nonexistent. hopefully though things would start to ease up on me on the next month. ^^; orz
